Nestled in the heart of northern Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the Copper Country State Forest, Sportsman's Paradise Resort is located 30 miles north and east of Iron Mountain, between Felch and Ralph, Michigan. This beautiful area of the UP is blessed with many nearby lakes, trout streams and rivers. Sportsman's Paradise Resort offers three seasons of UP fun. Spring is a great time to go trout fishing, mushrooming, turkey hunting, hiking, or four-wheeling on the many back roads and logging trails north and west of Felch and Ralph. When you visit the Upper Peninsula, spend your summer fishing spring-fed Norway Lake's 52 acres in the boats that come with your cabins. Trolling motors are for rent by the day or week. Swimming in our no-wake lake, canoeing a lazy river, and whitewater rafting down the Menominee are just a few of the many activities available in 'da UP. If you enjoy hiking, explore the backwoods via the two tracks or logging roads, just don't get lost. Many people use our cozy cabins as a home base while they explore the Upper Peninsula's surrounding areas. For the avid hunting enthusiasts, grouse, woodcock, and black bear hunting start in mid September, deer hunting with bow begins the first of October, rifle begins November 15th and muzzleloading begins the first Friday in December.
